(English review)

A much more realistic storyline .
Who has not heard about illegal immigrants dying of fear of being deported?
Ana has this problem .
She is a beautiful person inside and out, struggling, pursuing her dream of a better life.
It's exactly her way to be that enchants Theo, the rebellious teenager giving problems to his father, Dr. Ethan. To become Theo's tutor, Ana got much more than do the young to study, she won his heart. And to add, won Theo's father's heart too.

Dr. Ethan Hansen was a widower torn between his work and love for his son, now a troubled age.
When hiring a tutor to Theo, he wanted to take a problem off his hands, but just screwed another bigger: the fascination that Ana had on him.

With the living, he became increasingly in love day by day, but then discovers she's illegal, that at any moment she could be deported .

Easier solution? Marry her. But this would be the best way to handle this?

And that's where so many twists happen and surprise the reader.

The plot is super current and keeps the reader interested in knowing how the story ends.
The pace of the story I thought it too fast. Some scenes had to occur more slowly, to savor the moment.
Positives points: Even being a novel, the author gives the reader a chance to know the characters before there is the romantic involvement. Moreover, she shows some of cultural differences between them. Nothing could fit so easily. And, through Ana's story, the difficulty of thousands of people who want to realize the American dream, but eventually be discovered as illegal and deported to their countries of origin.
Negative point : would not exactly a downside, but maybe a part of history that would give me a certain depressive air: the description of the people around Ethan, especially mothers of the city. The way he speaks, the mothers were poor things, unhappy with their role as mothers and, therefore, even being married, they flirted shamelessly with other  men. Yes, it happens, but needed to be described as taking place in the entire city? It was kind of weird.
Although the plot is current and interesting, I felt no connection with the characters .
