REVIEW
I began to read this book imagining that it was another romance between two people hard heads, who fight all the time, each wanting to prove to the other their point of view. I could not be more wrong...
And happy about it.
In fact, this is the first book in the series that brings the story of the Freeman siblings.
They are different, they have met from a devastating situation, and that is exactly why Cassidy continues to have terrible nightmares to this day.
Now, the siblings have a wildly successful wedding and events service, the Amaryllis Events. Each one occupies an important place in the company.
Phillip takes care of the floral arrangements
Emily finds the best design for bride and groom
Corinna bakes the cakes
Holly takes care of filming
Alison takes care of the legal and financial part
And Cassidy organizes all this madness.
They are about to receive a major client, Ryan Lockwood, for his wedding to his fiance Jared.
However, this would not be just another event. Scars from the past would haunt everyone, especially Cassidy, and at the same time, Caleb Lockwood, Ryan's older brother, a former soldier from Army Intel and now a private investigator, will feel for Cassidy an inexplicable connection.
