Some men are born responsible, some men have responsibility thrust upon them. Henry Charles Albert Edgar Pembrook, Prince of Wessco, just got the motherlode of all responsibility dumped in his regal lap. He’s not handling it well. Hoping to force her grandson to rise to the occasion, Queen Lenora goes on a much-needed safari holiday—and when the Queen’s away, the Prince will play. After a chance meeting with an American television producer, Henry finally makes a decision all on his own: Welcome to Matched: Royal Edition. A reality TV dating game show featuring twenty of the world's most beautiful blue bloods gathered in the same castle. Only one will win the diamond tiara, only one will capture the handsome prince’s heart. While Henry revels in the sexy, raunchy antics of the contestants as they fight, literally, for his affection, it’s the quiet, bespectacled girl in the corner—with the voice of an angel and a body that would tempt a saint—who catches his eye. The more Henry gets to know Sarah Mirabelle Zinnia Von Titebottum, the more enamored he becomes of her simple beauty, her strength, her kind spirit…and her naughty sense of humor. But Rome wasn’t built in a day—and irresponsible royals aren’t reformed overnight. As he endeavors to right his wrongs, old words take on whole new meanings for the dashing Prince. Words like, Duty, Honor and most of all—Love.

REVIEW

Henry Pembrook doesn't like the sense of imprisonment he feels from being the heir to Wessco's throne with the abdication of his older brother, Nick. Henry doesn't feel prepared to take on this responsibility no matter how much his grandmother, Queen Lenora, forces him to know of all matters concerning the kingdom.
Besides, his grandmother has been reminding him systematically that now it's his time to get a wife, something else he's not ready for. Until recently Henry could have had the woman he wanted without any ties.

Feeling suffocated, he decides he needs to take advantage of the little time he has left for freedom. He accepts the proposal of a TV producer to do a reality show in which he will be played by 20 ladies of the kingdom. The chosen one would receive the tiara indicating that she would be his bride and future queen of Wessco.

Among the candidates there was Penelope - Penny - daughter of a Countess. However, Penny's mother only allows her to attend the show if her older sister, Sarah, accompanies her to watch her.
Wanting to escape another responsibility at work, Sarah accepts the offer. From there, Sarah and Henry would be in the same environment.
Sarah was the non-candidate who caught Henry's attention precisely because she didn't want to get his attention. Sarah wasn't part of the game ... How could Henry choose her?

The story, continuation of the series, brings us the evolution of a prince who doesn't feel capable of assuming such responsibility and who carries on his shoulders the weight of not feeling dignified because of something that happened in his recent past.
Sarah and Henry help each other, mature, and discover that there is possibility of happiness despite the bad news that fate brings.
